This reamer is a wonderful tool for opening the collar of your bassoon reeds so they fit perfectly on the bassoon bocal (or crook)

Made by Chiarugi in Italy, from tempered steel with an Ebony wood handle. 

This reamer precisely matches the Chiarugi Bassoon mandrel dimensions to allow for the slight adjustment of the inside of your reed, as needed.

5 pronged blades along the steel allow for a smooth finish.
