This book contains 89 pages of graded technical work material and is the companion to the AMEB Oboe Exam syllabus. The book is arranged into chapters from Preliminary level to Grade 8 level. Each chapter details the scales (or scale fragments), arpeggios and broken chords required for each exam. Speed and articulation requirements are documented for each grade level. The technical work is fully notated in an easy to read format.
Technical exercises are also provided to support learning the musical techniques for each level. As the level increases from Preliminary to Grade 8, the technical work requirements become more challenging.
