This downloadable PDF gives you the sheet music to this short bassoon trio by Australian Composer John Arthur Grant. This wonderful trio was written for two bassoons and contrabassoon. It can be played by three bassoons and /or any three bass clef instruments.
This is a fun work in which the bassoons lyrical range is highlighted and set against a driving rhythmic backdrop.
The three parts interweave sharing the melodic line in harmony and driving rhythms. A large range of notes across the instrument are used from F3 up to B5.
