This Student Oboe Reed is made by Danzi of Italy, from French cane.

Not ideally suited for absolute beginners, because the cane is high-quality dense cane.  This produces a warm, full tone, and responds best to good embouchure and support.

These reeds are perfect for emerging players learning their craft and are seeking a reed with good longevity and strength, without the hardness of the Professional model.  These reeds only come in Medium strength.
