Compact Oboe Stand

Made by K&M in Germany, this hard plastic oboe stand has a foldable metal base that screws inside the peg for easy transport. Lightweight, sturdy and strong.  It has a low centre of gravity which keeps your instrument secure while on the stand.

This black oboe stand consists of a plastic peg and detachable base section.  The detachable base section consists of a screw fitting and foldable metal feet.

To use this compact oboe stand, unscrew the detachable base from the bottom of the peg.  The bottom of the peg is the section with the larger diameter.   Once detached from the peg,  the hinged metal legs will collapse easily, splaying out from the screw mechanism.   With the legs splayed re-screw the plastic screw into the base of the peg again.   The stand is now ready to hold your oboe safetly in an upright position.

To collapse the stand for transportation or storage, unscrew the base from the peg, fold all four metal legs to meet in the center in a vertical position. Thread the metal legs into the base of the peg and rescrew to hold in place.  The oboe stand is designed to be transported in the bell of the oboe in its case.

This oboe stand is durable and comes with a 5 year warranty.  It is compact, lightweight and easy to use.   The peg is 15.5cm in length and fits neatly into the bell of your oboe; holding the instrument securely in an upright position.  This K&M oboe peg is gentle on the inside of your oboe and will not damage its inner surface.

With this stand you’ll be free to put your instrument down while locating music or adjusting reeds.  This stand holds the oboe upright which reduces water moving into tone holes and damaging key pads.  The freedom to put your instrument down safety, with the reed still in place, is the major benefit to having a compact oboe stand!
