Cor Anglais Peg

Description

This black Cor Anglais peg is made of sturdy plastic and is one of the most robust and sturdy systems for holding your instrument when not in use.  It must be paired with either a tripod peg base stand for one or more instruments or cross-brace peg base stand for two or more instruments. Its length of 160 mm, fits neatly into the bell of your English Horn; holding the instrument securely in an upright position.  This K&M peg is gentle on the inside of your Cor Anglais and will not damage its inner surface.

With this peg and the corresponding stand (purchased separately) you’ll no longer worry about putting your instrument down while turning pages or adjusting reeds.  This peg (and corresponding stand) holds the instrument upright which reduces water moving into tone holes and damaging key pads.  The system is robust enough to significantly lower the risk of damage to your instrument by falling.  So you can rehearse and perform in crowded spaces without anxiety.

This system is not as compact as some stands, however it is very secure and is the preferred stand for those who enjoy the company of pets while practicing at home!

At the base of this peg is a screw threaded to specification M5.  It is insufficient to operate by itself and must be teamed with a base stand which is sold separately. You can select from a peg base stand which can hold one or more instruments (eg Cor Anglais and Clarinet and flute) on a tripod.  Or choose a peg base stand for two or more instruments in a cross-brace style.
